Stephen DiPietro

Stephen DiPietro currently serves as Vice Provost of University Assessment, Accreditation & Institutional Effectiveness at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. In this position, his major responsibilities include oversight of all university assessment activities, the program alignment and review program as well as accreditation and compliance issues. He also previously served in the capacity of Assistant to the President/Chief of Staff at another institution before joining Drexel. Prior to those experiences Steve served as a Senior Manager of the College Board Middle States Regional Office for many, many years working specifically in the area of SAT and PSAT testing administration, college admissions and professional development training with an emphasis on college admission practitioners. He has served as a presenter at national and regional forums and professional conferences, and also served as a Blue and Gold Officer for the United States Naval Academy working with the Office of Candidate Guidance in the area of brigade recruitment. Steve has also functioned as a consultant in the professional development space for schools and school systems in the Greater Delaware Valley, and was the chief consultant to the Rodel Foundation. He also serves the Middle States Commission on Higher Education as a site evaluator. Steve has been featured in Delaware Today and Focus Magazines as well as The Dialog, Inquirer, Catholic Standard and Times and Wilmington News Journal newspapers and has written booklets and guidebooks in the area of test administration and college planning published by both the College Board and Educational Testing Service.
