Dr. Julia Williams is an Associate Professor of Education at the University of Minnesota Duluth. Her expertise is in assessment and program evaluation. Currently, Dr. Williams is serving as Faculty on Special Assignment for Campus Assessment, where she has worked with campus assessment processes for five years. Dr. Williams has taught courses in classroom assessment for secondary education majors, program assessment and large-scale metrics for the department's Masters in Education program, school and district level assessment, as well as data-informed leadership for the Educational Administration programs and program evaluation processes for the college's Ed.D. Dr. Williams also leads strategic planning and district-level trainings for school systems across the state. She has led Accreditation External Reviews and she has served as lead evaluator for multi-site, multi-year grants for NSF and governmental agencies as well as regional funding agencies.
