Elizabeth Smith is the Planning Director for the Yale National Initiative at the University of Tulsa, a partnership program to improve teaching in high-poverty, urban schools. Her previous experience in higher education includes overseeing campus assessment and accreditation efforts; managing school-university partnerships; creating student development programs; improving college pathways for first-generation, low-income students; and recruiting new students through university admissions. Smith is a graduate of the WASC Assessment Leadership Academy and holds a doctoral degree in Public Policy: P-20 Education Policy and a master's degree in Higher Education, both from the University of Arkansas.
